The way we communicate is part of our identity

Learning to speak a second language changed and shaped my identity in ways that I never expected. There is privilege in being able to communicate in your first language and the ripple effects on our identity are huge. Add in any other factor in which you are leading in an environment that was not built for you, our confidence and how we make an impact is tested. When we don’t feel confident in our communication, we don’t feel like us. When this happens to individuals at work, everyone suffers. Which is why we do what we do.

We carry out cultural diagnostics and awareness building to understand how organisations can better support their international employees. It’s not just about language, communication is multi-faceted and requires input from both sides, from individuals but also from their managers and leaders.

Then the foundation for our coaching is that building your self-awareness in the environments we find ourselves in is an important part of being able to lead with impact. We work with emerging to senior leaders to empower them to take hold of their leadership in a way that feels authentic and real, without minimising the parts of them that make up their sense of identity.

We’ve worked with numerous organisations in order to improve their culture and create healthier working environments for international teams. You can find more about our solutions below.
